Forest Gate Community Garden Needs Your Support
Our much-loved community garden is facing a financial crisis.
Last year we welcomed 7,000+ visits, hosted 30 school groups, 45+ children’s garden sessions, NHS therapy sessions, Sunday Socials, seasonal celebrations, and year-round activities all free to the community.
Demand keeps growing, but funding for essential staffing has become harder to secure. Grants often cover projects, not the core team needed to keep the garden open, safe and welcoming. Volunteers are incredible, but they need the support of a small paid team to run the programmes our community relies on.
How you can help?
Support the garden by becoming a Friend of the Garden, joining as a Garden Guardian, partnering as a Community Partner, or pledging to our Garden Legacy Circle.
