Getting involved

Our community gardener shares some thoughts on how the garden is managed:

“Forest Gate Community Garden is a constantly evolving living environment, it is cared for and supported in an Organic way with biodiversity at the core of every part of its growth and development.

Rich in species and in habitats the garden offers structure and solace to many lifeforms as the seasons and the climates we live in change ever faster  around us.”

Core aims and objectives:

To create and maintain green spaces for wildlife, plants and people.

To support enjoyment and learning about nature

To promote an inclusive community and nurture wellbeing

Thank you to our volunteers, partners and funders without which the garden would not be possible!
